Dialogism and voices: refractions in Portuguese Language educational materials

Abstract

This article aims at presenting how the principles of dialogism and voices were thematized in educational activities, which are focused on the reading and writing of opinion essays through educational materials such as thematic workbooks. The material analyzed was taken from the workbook “Pontos de Vista”, of the Portuguese Language Olympics Program Writing the Future. This study is substantiated methodologically by qualitative investigation based on documental research. In theoretical terms it is based on the concepts of dialogism and voices from a Bakhtinian perspective.
