ACT and AFFECT metapredicates in the semantic structure of BP instrumental verbs

In this article we take as study object the instrumental verbs from Brazilian Portuguese and their proposals of lexical representation already shown in the literature. Our motivation for this work is that these verbs take two arguments, which is not in accordance with the proposals made by some authors. Finally, we conclude instrumental verbs need different lexical representations from those already shown in the literature.
