This article aims at presenting, in general terms, the doctoral thesis which is still
in progress and is named “Documents edition and lexicographic studies on the semantic field of charque (dried meat) in the south region”. The article also describes the first impressions obtained so far and the corpus selection and editing model to be followed. At the end of the article, a discussion about semantic field demonstrates dificulties found to define and to delimit the lexicon of the semantic field of charque.
