This paper presents an analysis of the unconventional uses of comma in argumentative texts written by eighth-graders (last grade of Elementary School). In this paper, the specific goals are to show how the unconventional uses of comma are motivated by a prosodic organization, specially by prosodic boundaries, and also, how this prosodic organization gives evidence of writing representation.Downloads
