Os metapredicados ACT e AFFECT na estrutura semântica dos verbos instrumentais do PB

Resumo

Neste artigo, tomamos como objeto de estudo os verbos instrumentais do português brasileiro e as propostas de representação lexical já existentes para eles na literatura. A motivação para este trabalho surgiu ao observarmos que os verbos conhecidos como instrumentais possuem dois argumentos, o que não está de acordo com as propostas de alguns autores. Por fim, concluímos que esses verbos precisam de representações lexicais diferentes das existentes.
