Abstract

This article has as goal to introduce and to describe the literary manifestation of haiku, by adopting the in locus observation, and focusing on the creation process and socialization in the Yuba Community, located in the Mirandópolis Municipal district (SP), 600km from São Paulo. We base this study on what is postulated by Octávio Paz (1980; 1991), Masuda Goga (1998), Massao Ohno (2008), Teiiti Suzuki (1996), Paulo Franchetti (1996) and Teruko Oda (1993).
