Critical Discourse Analysis: a model of linguistic analysis and social intervention
Keywords:
se, linguistic analysis, social analysis.Abstract
A Critical Discourse Analysis (CDA) is an approach for both theoretical and methodological nature of the description, interpretation and explanation of power practices that are manifested linguistically in contemporary society (FAIRCLOUGH, 2003) as well as a resource of scientific and social intervention in tackling different types of inequalities in the discourse. In this work, we unearth these bases of the CDA in order to support a research proposal to examine the linguistic discourse in broad sociological parameters.
